Green Juice

Green juice or for that matter juicing is the best way to get nutrients from fruits and vegetables. This particular recipe is easy to make and filled with nutrients .

The ingredients used here are:

Spinach : is loaded with nutrients, they are good for hair, skin & bone health. Rich in iron, protein, minerals & vitamins.

Banana : loaded with vitamins & minerals such as potassium, manganese, calcium, magnesium, iron, folate, niacin, riboflavin, and B6. These all contribute to the proper functioning of the body and keeps you healthy.

Ginger : one of the healthiest spices. Has anti-inflammatory properties , can help lower blood sugar and heart risk factors. Helps in indigestion too. It can lower cholesterol levels too.

Turmeric : contains a lot of powerful medicinal properties. Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.

Lime/Lemon : contains lots of vitamin C, flavonoids, and antioxidants.

Green Juice

METHOD :

Wash and cut the spinach, add one banana , juice of a lemon, a teaspoon of organic turmeric and a small piece of ginger. Put all in the juicer and once done pour it in a glass. Tastes yum and packed with nutrients. Best taken at breakfast.
