
Ingredients :
Oats : 1 cup (gluten free)
Onions : 1 large cut into small cubes.
Curry Leaves : 4-6
Fresh Corriander Leaves
Green Chillies : 1-2 as per taste (slit from the middle)
Mustard Seeds : 1 teaspoon
Cumin Seeds : 1 teaspoon
Rice Bran Oil : 1 teaspoon
Pink Himalayan Salt : As per taste.
Organic Turmeric Powder: 1 teaspoon.
METHOD:
In a pan add the rice bran oil and add in it cumin seeds and mustard seeds , once it starts to splutter, add in the onions alongwith the green chillies (which is added just for the flavour), also add the curry leaves. Once the onions are translucent , add in it the oats and then water and mix . Then add in it half a teaspoon of organic turmeric powder , 1 teaspoon of pink himalayan salt and the fresh corriander leaves. Mix all together and cook it on a slow flame for sometime. You can add water as per the consistency you prefer. Serve Hot. You can have it for breakfast or even for dinner. Its filling & healthy and tastes yummy too 🙂
